If you are struggling to find lasting peace, there is a path.
You can live your life with more contentment, compassion, confidence and clarity.
Through our work together, folks often find that their capacity to handle stress expands and evolves. They learn to trust that this growth can continue even beyond their time in therapy. Folks often discover strengths and skills that they didn’t know they had. Their relationship with themselves and their stressors begins to change. They begin to notice more and more space between impulse and choiceful action. They begin to trust themselves more. They move toward cultivating peace between the conflictual voices inside and discover an inner harmony that didn’t seem possible before.
The path starts with us building connection, making sure we have a shared understanding and vision. Then we begin to identify what feels supportive and healthful for you, building on what is already working, and supplementing with additional tools. Only after we have this foundation do we begin to make contact with the hard stuff. We will engage various modalities including EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and Ego state therapy to move from stuckness to greater aliveness. We will explore internal and historical factors that support your resilience and those that create distress. We will also explore how you live inside of your various identities and how you have been impacted by the many -isms of systemic oppression and domination. No part of you will be excluded. We will engage in practices that can help you gain more independence from the internal harms of oppression and from the painful binds of the past. You will cultivate compassion and curiosity for yourself and your life. Together we will endeavor to create the conditions for deep and lasting healing.
I am a white, cis-gendered, Jewish woman living in a body that experiences thin privilege and able-bodied privilege. This leaves me with plenty of work to do and I am committed to doing it through learning, accountability practices, and ongoing inner work. My identities will interplay with yours in our work together and I will bring that up and I will invite you to do so as well.

The work might be different from what you might expect; we aren’t fixing anything because there is nothing to fix, but you will notice a difference. With time you might begin to feel more clarity, more self-confidence, more joyfulness; and might find yourself more able to live your values with intention and creativity.

You deserve to live a good life. Don’t wait.
